Our Isopod Starter Kit includes:

1. 3L Braplast Enclosure with Vented Lid:

Begin your isopod journey with our spacious 3-liter Braplast enclosure. Designed with a vented lid, it ensures the perfect balance of airflow for a comfortable habitat, allowing your isopods to thrive.

2. Isopod/Millipede Substrate:

Introducing our premium Isopod/Millipede Substrate – a meticulously crafted blend of nutrient-rich worm castings, coco coir, decayed white wood, and sphagnum moss. This substrate provides a nourishing foundation for your isopods and millipedes, promoting health, reproduction, and a thriving habitat.

3. Spray Bottle with RO Water:

Isopod Starter Kit Setup Instructions:

1. Braplast Enclosure Setup:

- Open the 3L Braplast enclosure and ensure proper ventilation.

- Place the enclosure in a suitable location, away from direct sunlight and drafts.

2. Substrate Placement:

- Evenly spread the Isopod/Millipede Substrate at the bottom of the enclosure.

- Create a substrate layer of about 1-2 inches for optimal habitat conditions.

3. Humidity Control:

- Use the provided spray bottle with RO water to mist the substrate and enclosure walls.

- Adjust humidity levels by observing isopod behavior

- Maintain a slightly damp substrate.

4. Natural Elements:

- Scatter the supplied leaf litter and lotus pod across the substrate to mimic their natural environment.

- These elements serve as both decoration and a crucial part of their diet.

5. Cork Bark Hide Placement:

- Position the cork bark hide in a corner or against the enclosure wall to create a secure shelter.

- Ensure easy access for isopods while providing a secluded space for molting and breeding.

6. Sphagnum Moss Placement:

- Place sphagnum moss in areas where moisture retention is crucial, place on one side to create a humidity gradient within the enclosure.

- Monitor moisture levels and adjust as needed to maintain a comfortable habitat.

7. Isopod Feeding:

- Sprinkle the specially formulated Custom Blend of Isopod Food sparingly on dryer side of enclosure.

- Monitor feeding habits and adjust the quantity accordingly to support their health and breeding.
