This is a cultivated form of Pilea spruceana with a particularly high amount of silver on the leaves. The natural form usually just has green leaves. Some specimens show a silvery pattern . P. spruceana 'Norfolk' has been selected to be completely silver almost to the edge of the leaf, giving it an almost artificial appearance.
It is easy to care for, both in the terrarium and in the room. It grows to a height of around 20cm and forms dense stands over time.
