Asplenium antiquum ( nest fern)
Asplenium antiquum, like Asplenium nidus, is often simply referred to as nest fern and comes from East Asia (China, Taiwan, Japan). It is an uncomplicated houseplant for shady or semi-shady locations. Due to its leathery, robust leaves, it is not as sensitive to low humidity as other ferns.
With optimal care, elongated sori develop on the underside of new fronds, which produce numerous spores in their sporangia.
You will receive a young approximately 8cm high plant in an 5cm pot.
