Tillandsia usneoides (Louisiana moss-Fine)
This tiny tillandsia occurs naturally from the southern United States to Chile.
It is tiny but grows in large, connected colonies on trees and bushes. Over time, these frets can reach considerable dimensions and even hang down to the ground. The growth habit is reminiscent of mosses (hence the common name) or beard lichens of the genus Usnea , which is also what the species name refers to. Their flowers are brown or yellow and rather small and inconspicuous.
You will receive a bunch of the 'Fine' variety, approx. 20-30 cm long.
'Fine' consists of very thin, particularly small individual plants. We recommend care in the terrarium.
